I work in a nursing home, when I was given the go ahead to build a garden I jumped at the chance. I had read a lot about horticultural therapy for the elderly but seeing it in action really opened my eyes. The residents enjoy watering, weeding and preparing seeds for planting and propagation. The garden is a place to spend social time together as well. I highly recommend getting a garden together in any form for anyone. This garden was started in early November.
